Hot tubs were made to help people relax, especially after a
stressful day at work. Sometimes, our careers can get the best of us.
Physical and mental stress brought about by tight deadlines, too many
things to do, longer work hours, too many bills to pay, not enough time
for rest and relaxation and time with people we care for are the big
problems people face today. Coming home late at night and very tired can
drain he energy out of anyone and make us not have enough time to spend
with the family. Weekends are also too short to spend at a spa away
from the family. The hot tub provides an at-home relaxation option which
can be enjoyed by the whole family. You can spend quality time with
them and also get to wake up relaxed, refreshed and invigorated the next
day. But in these times of busier careers, the lifestyle of people has
changed and people change addresses more often than they did in the
past.
A hot tub is becoming a well-loved home appliance, leaving it behind is simply not an option. But moving something as big and bulky as a hot tub can be quite a stressful job unless you know how. We work with hot tubs company for hot tub service. Here are some tips on moving your hot tub. You will need a furniture dolly or trolley (whichever one you have), some rope or straps, two pieces or 2x4's (if you are using a dolly) and the help of at least two people. First thing you need to do is to make sure your hot tub is completely empty and all wires and power cables are unplugged. Also make sure all detachable parts have already been removed and packed before doing the moving in order not to damage or break them.
Using a Furniture Dolly: If you are using a furniture dolly, lift one side of the empty hot tub and have one person place a piece of 2x4 underneath that lifted side. Next, lift the side parallel to the raised side and also place the other 2x4 underneath that side. Now, your hot tub is completely off the ground and its weight supported by the 2x4's. Slowly position the furniture dolly on the space underneath the raised hot tub. Gradually transfer the hot tub onto the dolly by slowly removing the 2x4's. When the hot tub is in place and on the dolly, secure it with a rope or strap to prevent it from falling off during transport.
Using a Trolley: Now using a trolley is ideal if you have a small/narrow space or aisles around your home to move your big and wide hot tub out. With the help of 1 or 2 people, you will need to get your hot tub to stand completely on its side. Have your trolley positioned right at the past where your hot tub lands standing. Slowly lift your hot tub and have one person securing the trolley. Once the hot tub has stood and onto the read trolley, secures it in place with straps to prevent it from falling off during transport.
Slowly wheel your hot tub out and to your moving vehicle. And
incline to load your hot tub onto your vehicle or truck would be very
useful as lifting the hot tub will require 5 or more people. Do not
remove your hot tub from the dolly or trolley until you have the new
location. Do the same process in reverse when unloading your hot tub and
placing it in its new location.A hot tub is becoming a well-loved home appliance, leaving it behind is simply not an option.
